HKM
Horizontal Circular Saw
Precise Cut
How it works
The HKM horizontal circular saw cuts squared timber with horizontally arranged saw blades.
It works with the double blade principle, which evenly distributes the cutting forces.
Depending on the design, the saw heads are:
A1 with a saw arbor mounted directly to the motor shaft, or
A2 equipped with a fixed saw arbor or saw head, plus an additional adjustable saw head
The motor housings can be adjusted vertically and horizontally using precision linear guides.
The saw blades are positioned servo-hydraulically, with optional electromechanical height adjustment.
When not in use, the saw blades are moved horizontally out of the work area.
benefits
High cutting accuracy
High performance
Automatically controlled cutting height and depth
Can be used as a pre-cutting machine
Tool Change
Large, wide-opening covers allow easy and safe tool changes.
The HKM horizontal circular saw can also be equipped with pneumatically raised and loweredsafety guards, which separate the working area from the tool change area safely.
In this way, the tool change can be carried out safely and efficiently while the saw line is running.
Pre-Cut use
Thanks to the servo-hydraulic positioning of the cutting depth, the HKM 360-A2/V can also be used as a pre-cut machine.
This makes it possible to separate multi-board side cuts without using a circular board edger.
Machine Variants
HKM - A1
The A1 is a saw unit with vertically adjustable motors to set the cutting height. The cutting depth is controlled independently via servo cylinders.
The saw heads can be equipped with up to three saw blades, which enables flexible and powerful operation.
HKM - A2
The A2 also has a vertical adjustment of both motors to set the cutting height and an independent adjustment of the cutting depth using servo cylinders.
In addition to the fixed saw heads, each motor shaft has an additional adjustable saw head, making the machine even more flexible.
HKM - A2/V
The A2/V is a pre-cut variant with independently adjustable cutting height and cutting depth via servo cylinders.
In addition to the fixed saw heads, each motor shaft has an additional adjustable saw head specifically designed for precise pre-cuts.
