PRO SL

Your Specialist Solution for Economical Pallet Board Production

Die Profilierlinie PRO SL ist die LINCK Speziallösung für die KurzholzThe PRO SL profiling line is LINCK’s specialist solution for short-log profiling. It produces pallet boards from short round logs with high efficiency and reliable quality.

The plant processes pre-sorted logs according to predefined fixed cutting patterns. This allows extremely small timber gaps, contributing significantly to the high cutting performance of the system.

Together with you, we configure the PRO SL short-log profiling line as your ideal solution for economical pallet board production.

Key Data

80.000 m³ logs/year/shift
110 m/min feed speed, up to
54 cm log dia., large end
10 cm log dia., small end
1,10–3,10 m log length

Features

Sorted logs
Unsorted logs

Precise Timber Guidance

Short logs are continuously held in the correct position by several pairs of rollers, ensuring stable guidance throughout the process.

Double-Shaft Circular Saw

Resaw and post-cut saws operate according to the double-shaft principle.
This reduces kerf width, as cutting forces are distributed across two saw blades.

Maximum Process Reliability

The rotation of squared timber is achieved purely through mechanical design – without additional drives, controls or energy consumption.

Value Creation from Every Log

The short-log plant enables profitable processing of heavily curved logs – raw material that is often considered uneconomical.

Plant Segments

Pre-Cut Chipper Canter Group

The infeed system transfers pre-sorted short logs into the profile chipper with minimal timber gaps.

Several roller pairs hold the short timber sections securely in the required position. Directly after the profile chipper outfeed, the cant is rotated by 90° for further processing.

Post-cut chipper canter group

The side boards are then profiled and separated by a profiling and sawing unit.

The separating conveyor safely removes the side boards. A simple but effective turning device rotates the squared timber by 90° before the next machine group.

Post-Cut Profiling Group

A further profiling and sawing unit produces one additional side board per side and separates it.

These side boards are also removed by the separating system.

Resaw Group

A circular separating saw is activated for larger diameters. The cut can also be asymmetrical.

The two post-cut circular saws maintain the plant’s high processing speed even during the final production stage.
