Flexible Profiling
The profiling units optimise side boards with maximum flexibility.
Board width, length and thickness can be varied individually.
Optional configurations also enable diagonal and/or tapered side boards.
Active Curve Following
The machines operate with active curve-following technology.
This means they do not simply follow the outer contour of the log, but calculate the optimum curvature line – including spline-based contours.
Ovality, taper and additional growth characteristics are also taken into account.
Separation of Side Boards
The board separator reliably separates side boards from the main product stream – even when processing multi-piece centre products.
