ante-holz is building a new sawmill including a construction timber and pellet production. According to Jürgen Ante, Managing Director of ante-holz in Bromskirchen-Somplar/Germany, the sawing capacity for the envisaged Greenfield project in Rottleberode/Germany will amount to 800.000 m³ round logs per year. The V50 chipper canter line will be supplied by the German company Linck, Oberkirch, the conveying equipment in the sawmill as well as on the log yard by the Austrian company Springer, Friesach. Start-up of the sawmill is planned for the end of 2007. In addition ante-holz is planning a construction timber production plant with a capacity of 200.000 m³/year on the new site. Its supplier will be decided on in the next days. Construction work will already start this year, start-up of the plant is scheduled for the second quarter of 2007. Apart from this ante is planning a pellet production with a capacity of 150.000 tons of pellets/year. The planning work for Rottleberode was entrusted to Lumplecker Holzindustrieberatung, Weyer. New investments are also done in Bromskirchen-Somplar: the modification of the existing chipper canter line shall increase the sawing capacity from now 1 million m³ round logs/year to about 1.4 million m³ round logs/year. End of 2007 ante-holz also invests in the construction timber production.
